■ Four Experiences Comprising “BEYOND THE STRAND: The Odyssey of Creation and Endeavor”

  1. Retracing the Steps of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS
A decade of ideas expanding across the world

From its founding to the present day, this exhibition documents the first ten years of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS through its works, projects, and creative endeavors.
Exploring the origin point of each creation and the encounters, collaborations, and connections that brought those ideas to life, the exhibit presents a multifaceted portrait of the studio's journey through its key moments and creations. Rather than serving as a simple archive of the past decade, this offers an immersive journey through the studio’s creative process, tracing the course of how a single idea expands beyond imagination and reaches the wider world.

  2. Behind the Scenes: Never-Before-Seen Materials
Detailed look at the trial-and-errors that were behind the games final form.

This exhibit will feature an extensive collection of rare materials being shown to the public for the first time, including concept art, design documents, design proposals, and various ideas generated throughout the development process.
It also shines a light on the creative process that led to the work’s final form, exploring the stories, challenges, and experimentation that remain unseen. In addition, exclusive behind-the-scenes insights drawn from interviews with members of the development team will be presented.
These previously unreleased materials and untold stories offer visitors a rare glimpse into the moments when the works of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS first came to be.

  3. Spaces Recreated and the 10th Anniversary Limited LUDENS Statue
A very real peek into what it’s like inside the studio.

The event will host a dedicated space for the statue of LUDENS adorned in its 10th anniversary guise, allowing visitors to capture moments and photos as if actually stepping inside the studio. The exhibit will also showcase statues of many other characters, shown for the first time ever.

  4.  A 360° Immersive Video Installation
Step Fully Into the Worlds of the Works

Developed exclusively for this exhibition, this all-encompassing visual installation transforms the space through dynamic imagery projected onto a massive 360-degree screen, immersing visitors in the profound worlds of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS games. It is a reflection of the studio's pursuit of innovation though the combination of technology and visual art, going beyond the conventional notions of gaming to deliver this experience.
